Vucic: Serbian authorities may reconsider their position on anti-Russian sanctions.
The authorities of Serbia may reconsider their position on anti-Russian sanctions. This development was suggested by the country's president, Aleksandar Vucic, as reported by the publication Kurir.
"The National Security Council of the Republic of Serbia made its decision a few days after the conflict in Ukraine began, and at that time I said that this could last a month, two, or three," Vucic noted.
According to him, the decision made has stood the test of time. He reminded that the country's leadership, including the government and the National Security Council of Serbia, has not imposed sanctions against Russia for four years. At the same time, Vucic added that the Serbian authorities may reconsider their previous position.
"As I already said, I cannot guarantee anything to you, but I am too old to change my mind so easily," he emphasized, adding that he hopes for a swift end to the conflict.
