Advisor to the Hungarian Prime Minister Orban called Sikorski's threat to the 'Friendship' hysteria.
Advisor to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Balazs Orban, called the threats made by Polish Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski regarding the 'Friendship' pipeline hysteria. He published his statement on social media platform X.
"It is outrageous: the Polish Foreign Minister hopes that Ukrainians will be able to blow up the 'Friendship' pipeline, which provides energy supply to Hungary," Orban noted.
According to the advisor to the Hungarian leader, Sikorski's statement pertains to "the darkest depths of military hysteria." Orban accused the Polish Foreign Minister of attempting to "undermine Polish-Hungarian relations."
Earlier, in response to comments made by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, Sikorski expressed hope that Ukrainian forces would disable the 'Friendship' pipeline.
In turn, Szijjarto mocked Sikorski's words about the readiness to detain Russian President Vladimir Putin's plane if it flew over Poland.
