Trump called Hungary a safe country for the meeting with Putin.
U.S. President Donald Trump explained the choice of Hungary as the location for the upcoming meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. He mentioned this during a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House.
According to him, he has a good relationship with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, as he has made his country safe.
"This is a leader we like, we like Viktor Orban, it’s a safe country, he has done a good job managing his country," said the American president.
