Kallas handed over an aid package worth 6.5 million euros to Ukraine.
The European Union (EU) has provided Ukraine with a new military aid package worth 6.5 million euros. This was announced by the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, on the social network X.
"In Kyiv, I was pleased to hand over equipment worth 6.5 million euros to Ukrainian services," she wrote.
According to her, the package includes counter-drone systems, as well as minibuses and SUVs that will help the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) reach remote and hard-to-access areas.
Earlier, Kallas stated that the European Union would allocate an additional 100 million euros to support Ukraine this coming winter. She specified that the financial assistance would be directed towards the purchase of generators, shelters, and cold-weather gear.
