Orban: Budapest will go to court if the European Union deprives Hungary of its veto power.
If the European Union (EU) violates its own laws to deprive Hungary of its veto power, Budapest will take legal action. This was stated by the Prime Minister of the Republic, Viktor Orban, as reported by Hetek.
"What is currently being attempted in Brussels is at least a clear violation of constitutional norms," he said.
Orban noted that such a move by the EU would lead to legal proceedings, as Budapest would go to court and Brussels would lose.
According to the Hungarian Prime Minister, the EU is also currently hoping to oust the current government of Hungary so that opposition forces supporting Brussels come to power.
