The Palestinian terrorist organization Islamic Jihad approved Hamas's response to U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to end the war in Gaza and release hostages.
Hamas's ally welcomed the response from the terrorist organization, stating that it represents the position of the "Palestinian resistance."
It is believed that the approval of the plan by Islamic Jihad will facilitate the release of hostages held by both groups in Gaza.
Earlier, Hamas announced that it is ready to begin implementing the first stage of Trump's plan for a prisoner exchange as soon as the necessary conditions are met. Israel is already preparing lists of Palestinian prisoners who will be exchanged for hostages.
The release of all held hostages and the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza is "not far off." This has become possible due to current diplomatic initiatives.
Such confidence was expressed by French President Emmanuel Macron.
