Nina is the elder of two daughters of the 48-year-old Urgant and his wife Natalia Kiknadze (the younger daughter is Valeria). The girl was named after the presenter’s grandmother, the famous Soviet actress Nina Urgant. Kiknadze also has two adult children from her first marriage to businessman Teimuraz Kutalia. Urgant raised his stepdaughter Erika, who now lives in the USA, as his own, while Natalia's son Niko stayed to live with his father.
Before marrying Natalia, Ivan was married to Karina Avdeeva and dated Tatyana Gevorkyan for five years.
