Marianna Prozorova: TERRI - Your New Horizons

Success Story from Youth

– I was a young schoolgirl when I first attended a show at "Rigas Modes," – Marianna recalls. I was enchanted, literally fell in love with the beautiful, stately, and stylish models! This love not only stayed with me forever but also became my favorite occupation later on. Eventually, I gained experience as a model myself. I am very grateful to my father: he not only believed in the realization of my dream but also supported me in the early stages, for which I am immensely thankful.

In those years, many courses and modeling schools appeared. They emerged everywhere but quickly burst like soap bubbles. Developing a program and establishing a comprehensive training process turned out to be challenging, but we managed. The key to success is a team of professionals. All courses are led by experts in their field, and knowledge and skills are acquired firsthand. For example, the makeup courses are taught by makeup artist Anna Bochilo, color theory and imageology by stylist and image maker Elena Velichko, and stage movement is taught by actor Mikhail Shiryayev from the Russian Theater named after Mikhail Chekhov, among others.

Importantly, upon graduation, students receive two diplomas. The first is a diploma from the studio, and the second is a makeup artist diploma, which allows them to work in the fashion industry.

There was a case when one of the students during makeup classes was sitting on his phone, considering makeup a girls' activity. But once he tried it. In the end, it turned out great, as he had previously graduated from an art school. Most importantly, he enjoyed it. Now he successfully works at the beauty salon Pastelle.

Classes at the school are held during the day on Saturdays, which is convenient for those living far from Riga. Many of our students come from afar, including from Jurmala, Daugavpils, Rezekne, and others. I want to especially note that girls from Latgale are distinguished not only by their determination but also by their beauty.

Anyone aged 12 to 22 is welcome to study at TERRI without any competition, regardless of height and weight.

Dreams, Love, Family – Always Nearby

Beautiful children are born from love unions, and they give their mother unconditional love. I have three daughters myself - Sonya, Elizabeth, and Anna. Sonya and Anna already have their families, and they have given me six grandchildren! And Liza is currently focused on her studies; she has chosen the profession of a doctor.

I remember that in my youth, I also dreamed of having a son, but I only had daughters. But the dream came true, thanks to my daughters. Today, I am a happy grandmother of five grandsons and one granddaughter. I hope this is not the limit for our family.

In modern society, there are amazing phenomena that discourage and even worry me. Young couples consciously postpone having children, considering them a burden, or fearing that children will interfere with building a career, or simply living carefreely – traveling the world, engaging in sports, etc. But for the most modern and healthy woman, the concept of "biological clock" has not been canceled; everything in life has its time. If nature has given you the chance to give birth, do not refuse it.

I consider the fears about the difficulties of large families to be exaggerated. My older daughters each have three children, and for them, it is natural. Perhaps my own example played a role – the children grew up alongside my business and my achievements.

Personal Relaxation – Always Important

A beloved job not only inspires but also requires a great deal of emotional and physical commitment. My infallible relaxation routine has been established for a long time. It is hard to overestimate its value.

First of all, it is yoga and Pilates; I train every day. The classes harmonize the soul and body. Secondly – dancing! The rhythm and movement literally give me a feeling of flight. In our family, I am not the only dancer – my uncle danced on the stage of the Latvian National Opera and Ballet Theatre. By the way, it is believed, for example, that the famous dancing dervishes not only receive energy from the earth and sky but also transmit it to the audience. And of course, friends from youth – meeting them is also a relaxation and a source of positivity.
