Minimum Effort — Maximum Flavor: Simple Salad with Tuna and Feta Cheese

The recipe for a salad with canned tuna and feta cheese is characterized by its simplicity of preparation. It allows you to create a complete and healthy dish with minimal effort.

Ingredients:

  • a bunch of lettuce leaves;

  • a handful of arugula;

  • 170 grams of canned tuna;

  • 100 grams of feta cheese;

  • ten cherry tomatoes;

  • two tablespoons of olive oil;

  • 1 tsp of lemon juice;

  • salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation:

First, thoroughly wash and dry the greens and cherry tomatoes with a paper towel. Tear the lettuce leaves into small pieces by hand, while the arugula can be left whole.

Next, cut eight to ten cherry tomatoes in half and dice 100 grams of feta cheese into medium-sized cubes or crumble it by hand. After that, open the can of tuna, drain the liquid, and lightly mash the tuna with a fork; if it is in chunks, break it into smaller flakes.

In a large bowl, place the lettuce leaves, arugula, and cherry tomatoes, drizzle with two tablespoons of vegetable oil and one teaspoon of lemon juice, season with a little salt if desired, and mix. Finally, top with pieces of tuna and feta cheese.
