5 cities in Western Europe that are worth visiting at least once

Thun, Switzerland

Thun is located on the shores of the alpine Lake Thunersee and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Colmar, France

You can reach it by climbing a staircase of 408 steps or by taking a cable car. Among the culinary recommendations is the famous Belgian fries, which are considered especially delicious here.

Schwerin, Germany

The capital of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is considered one of the most beautiful yet lesser-known cities in Germany. The main attraction is the 19th-century Schwerin Castle with its towers and golden domes, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. In summer, tourists relax by the lake and visit the Schwerin Cathedral with its tall spire and stained glass windows. The city is interesting because many historical buildings have been preserved in their original form.

Salzburg, Austria
