Unexpectedly: Lukashenko Threatens Latvia with Nuclear Weapons

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, threatened Latvia with military actions, including nuclear weapons.

The Belarusian president seems to believe that he will be attacked by the troops of neighboring countries (not Russia).

Lukashenko, in particular, said: “My task is to warn my neighbors: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and perhaps to some extent Ukraine. God forbid they commit aggression against Belarus. We do not want war; we do not intend to fight them. No wars from the territory of Belarus against Poland and Lithuania are possible. We do not intend to do this unless we are drawn into this war and have to respond. We do not want that.”

After finishing with a peace-loving introduction, Alexander Lukashenko moved on to threats: “This does not mean that if some confrontation starts there tomorrow, we will strike those countries with nuclear weapons from which or through which aggression will be committed against us. We have enough other weapons to counter this.

But if we see that this threatens the existence of Belarus, then not only we, but also according to our agreement with the Russian Federation... It will not be pleasant. And we will use everything we have,” Lukashenko said.

What is the reason for this? Obviously, Belarus continues to promote the topic raised in Russia about the flight of Ukrainian combat drones over the Baltic countries.

Let us remind you that official Riga has repeatedly stated that it did not grant permission to Ukrainians to use its airspace for a Ukrainian attack on Russia.
