Member of the Saeima from the National Alliance, Arturs Butāns, announced on social media that he, along with colleague Jānis Vitenbergs, has proposed amendments that would prohibit "working as couriers/drivers for BOLT/WOLT who have not passed driving exams at the CSDD." "The current permissiveness must come to an end," the MP wrote on the social network X, adding that his party is also preparing proposals to restrict the entry of third-country nationals into Latvia who attempt to come here supposedly for studies, but in reality to work or conduct business.
