Janis Dombrova, a member of the Saeima from the now-opposition National Alliance, assessed the activities of the ruling coalition on the social network X: "The government of 'Unity + Progressives + KPV LV' has nullified everything that could be done. I'm sorry for our country."

Although commentators agreed with Dombrova's conclusion, they reminded him that the National Alliance has only been in opposition for the last two years, and prior to that, they were part of the ruling coalition for decades without doing anything positive for the country.

"The National Alliance was in government for at least 12 years before this government. Those with a weak memory shouldn't go to the Saeima, but apparently, it's contagious there," wrote one commentator.
