The rulers have no "success story."
The rapid decline in ratings for the two ruling political forces - "New Unity" and the Union of Greens and Farmers - is inevitable. This conclusion was reached this evening by experts invited to the studio of Latvian TV.
The head of the SKDS center, Arnis Kaktiņš, noted that the government has no good news for the people - only one misfortune after another. AirBaltic, Rail Baltica, inflation, and now fuel prices... "A new week and new misfortunes," the sociologist remarked. Political scientist Lelde Metla-Rozentāle echoed him: "And where is the success story? Voters feel that the ruling party ('New Unity') is tired."
