Today, a cycle of regular military exercises began in the eastern regions of Latvia, which will continue throughout the year with the aim of strengthening the state's defense and improving cooperation among security agencies, the National Armed Forces (NAF) reported to LETA.
During the exercises, the National Armed Forces (NAF) will practice the movement of units to ensure the protection of the state in various conditions, at any place and at any time, as well as to improve cooperation with the State Border Guard, the State Police, and NATO allies.
As emphasized by the NAF, joint exercises strengthen interaction between various institutions and enhance the compatibility of the NAF with other security structures and allies, ensuring more effective execution of defense tasks.
