In the upcoming Saeima elections this fall in Riga, it will be possible to vote at 158 polling stations.
This is provided for by the decision made by the Riga City Council on Wednesday, which approved the list of polling stations. The total number of stations is the same as in the previous elections, but the locations and numbers of the stations have changed.
In this election, a new polling station will appear at the Riga Zoo, the Nature Museum, and the Stradiņš University.
Polling stations will also be opened in four hospitals — the Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital, the Riga East Clinical University Hospital, the Riga 1st Hospital, and the Riga 2nd Hospital.
A total of 111 stations will be located in educational institutions.
Polling stations for the Saeima elections will be placed in 12 shopping centers — "Akropole Rīga," "Akropole Alfa," "Domina Shopping," "Galleria Rīga," "Galerija Centrs," "Origo," "Olimpia," "Rīga Plaza," "Stockmann," "Sky & More," "Imanta," "Zoom."
