The administration of state material reserves will be entrusted to LLC "Public Asset Manager 'Possessor'", the government decided at the meeting of the Crisis Management Council.
As Prime Minister Evika Silina reported to journalists after the meeting, several topics of state importance were discussed today in a closed format.
Particular attention was paid to state material reserves. The reserves will be managed centrally, and the management will be the responsibility of "Possessor".
According to Silina, the goal is to create a transparent system that shows in real time where the necessary reserves are and where they are being directed. The system will operate similarly to applications that track order delivery, the Prime Minister explained.
"People should be able to see where a particular reserve is and how it is moving. However, procurement, storage, and resource planning will remain under the jurisdiction of the sectoral ministries," Silina said.
