Latvia's Foreign Minister Baiba Braže commented on the shelling of Ukraine, which resulted in the deaths of three people.
According to Braže, "as the world prepares for Christmas, Russia prepares missiles to bomb children, women, civilians in Ukraine."
"Russia means war, not peace. The butcher in the Kremlin has not changed its goals. Disinformation campaigns can’t hide Russia’s actions. We’ll continue supporting Ukraine," added the head of the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On the morning of December 23, a large-scale air alert was declared across Ukraine. Russian troops carried out a combined attack using cruise missiles and strike drones.
