The Cabinet of Ministers will hold its last scheduled meeting of the year today, reports the LETA agency.
The meeting will start at 12:00 and will be the 53rd government meeting this year. Currently, nearly 100 issues are on the agenda.
Of all the government meetings this year, four were extraordinary, including two in the form of a survey.
The government of Latvia consists of Prime Minister Evika Silina ("New Unity") and 14 ministers from the parties "Progressives", "New Unity", and the Union of "Greens" and Farmers.
Opposition parties in the Saeima have called for Silina's resignation four times this year; however, the Prime Minister has withstood all votes of confidence in parliament.
