Today, the discussion on the 2026 budget began in the Saeima. Political scientist Philipp Raevsky, in a discussion on TV-24, agreed with the opinion that if the budget is successfully approved, and everything is heading that way, it will ensure a "long life" for the Silin government, that is, until the parliamentary elections.
"Yes, there may be all sorts of maneuvers with ministers, but if the money is divided, then what's the point? Why change anything?!" noted the political scientist.
