So, today at 13:00 an emergency meeting of the board of the Union of Greens and Farmers, which is part of the ruling coalition, is scheduled. The agenda is 'discussion of the current political situation.' There are rumors in the corridors of power that the meeting may end 'fatally' for the government of Siliņa. The only question is what tactic the 'Green Farmers' will choose - either a 'slow death' for the government by demanding the removal of Atis Švinkis ('Progressives') from the post of Minister of Communications, or a quick one - by the 'Green Farmers' themselves leaving the government and expressing no confidence in Evika Siliņa.
However, it cannot be ruled out that after long debates, the board of the Union of Greens and Farmers will simply make a stern statement along the lines of - another reprimand from the 'Progressives' and then we are definitely leaving.
