The Society Integration Fund will not be liquidated for now. Other compromises on budget amendments have also been reached.

The first round of difficult coalition negotiations on budget amendments has concluded. Continuation is expected tomorrow and the day after. However, during today’s meeting, an agreement was reached that the deputies of the Union of Greens and Farmers will withdraw their proposal for 'reorganization' or, more precisely, for the liquidation of the Society Integration Fund. As is known, the partners of the 'green farmers' in the government - 'New Unity' and 'Progressives' - were categorically against this.

It is still unclear what 'price' the partners will have to 'pay' for this 'compromise'. Ultimately, the government may support another initiative from the Union of Greens and Farmers - to reduce VAT not only on bread, milk, and chicken but also on pork. Additionally, it is likely that the coalition will support the 'green farmers' amendments to increase funding for medical services - in university clinics and in the regions.
