The President of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs, has gone on vacation today, the president's office informed the LETA agency.
Rinkēvičs will be on annual leave until Sunday, October 19.
During this time, the duties of the president will be performed by the Speaker of the Saeima, Daiga Mieriņa, according to the Constitution.
