After counting approximately 80% of the votes in the elections to the 15th Saeima, the "United List" (AS) is confidently leading, and only six parties or their coalitions remain in the race for seats in the Saeima, according to data published on the website of the Central Election Commission.

Since the Union of Greens and Farmers (ZZS) did not overcome the 5% barrier, receiving 4.88% of the votes, six parties are currently above this threshold.

According to the votes counted so far, the "United List" (AS) received 35.55%. In second place is "Latvia First" (LPV) with 13.39% of the votes. Following them is the coalition of parties "Sovereign Power/Union of Young Latvians" (SV/AJ) with 11.57%. The National Alliance (NA) received 9.14% of the voters' support.

Next are the "Progressives" with 6.83% of the votes and "New Unity" (JV) with 6.01%.

Thus, these parties can currently expect to enter the Saeima.

Apart from ZZS, the other parties have not yet reached the necessary 5% of the votes. The party "We Change the Rules" currently has 3.51% of the votes, the party "For the Development of Latvia" has 2.13%, the party "Stability!" has 2.07%, the party "Rising Sun for Latvia" has 1.36%, "Gobzem's List" has 1%, "Harmony" has 0.87%, and the New Conservative Party has 0.34%.

As bb.lv reported, the counting of votes in the Saeima elections began with a five-hour delay.
