Meanwhile, in Latvia, comprehensive state defense exercises named "Namejs" begin today and will last for a month. Pudans explained that the Latvian armed forces aim to learn from combat experience worldwide during the exercises, including applying new technologies and tactics, and are focusing more on transforming capabilities into real actions.

Pudans noted that a significant part of the autumn exercises "Namejs" will take place outside military training grounds.
