Starting Monday, August 10, the reconstruction of Gertrūdes Street will begin on the section from Alexander Čaka Street to Krišjāņa Barona Street.
During the construction works, there will be significant traffic restrictions and changes in transportation organization. Therefore, starting Monday, August 10, the route of the 1st trolleybus will be closed.
The capital's public transport company Rīgas satiksme advises passengers of this route to use other public transport routes that pass through the overlapping sections.
Changes will also affect the operation of parking lots managed by Rīgas satiksme — in certain sections of the streets, parking for cars may be restricted or completely closed.
