On Thursday, rain is expected in many places in Latvia, with thunderstorms predicted in the eastern regions both at night and during the day, forecasters say.
The sky will be mostly cloudy, with sunnier weather expected in Kurzeme and eastern Latgale. Fog will occur in places across the country, which may also be present during the day along the coast. The wind will mostly remain weak.
The minimum air temperature at night is expected to range from +5 degrees in some areas of Kurzeme to +14 degrees in Latgale, while the maximum temperature during the day will range from +12 degrees in some coastal areas to +20..+24 degrees in the central part of Kurzeme and in the far east of the country.
In Riga, rain is possible on Thursday, with a weak northern to northwestern wind. The air temperature will be around +10 degrees at night and +15 degrees during the day.
