Latvia is experiencing typical spring changeable weather: at the beginning of the week, it will be windy with a lot of precipitation, while from the middle of the week, the weather will become calmer, drier, and occasionally sunnier. Although weak frosts will continue at night, daytime temperatures will gradually start to rise. Winds will predominantly be from the west and north.

On Monday, predominantly cloudy and windy weather is expected. Rain will fall in the central and eastern regions at night, and in the morning, a new area of precipitation will reach Kurzeme, bringing rain and wet snow. Nighttime temperatures will drop to +1…+4 degrees. A southwest to west wind will blow from moderate to moderately strong, with gusts reaching 15-19 m/s, and up to 20-23 m/s along the coast. During the day, rain and wet snow will continue in most areas, with temperatures rising only to +2…+7 degrees.

On Tuesday, overcast and humid weather will persist, with precipitation expected in most areas. Throughout the day, the west and northwest winds will shift to the north and may strengthen in places, especially in coastal and western areas, where gusts will reach 15-19 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from 0 to +4 degrees, while daytime temperatures will be from +4 to +6 degrees.

On Wednesday, the weather will become calmer and remain so until the end of the week: occasional clearings are expected, and the sun will shine in many places. In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, there may be light short-term precipitation in the east, but then, under the influence of the anticyclone, it will be predominantly dry. With a moderate wind mainly from the north, nighttime temperatures will drop below 0 degrees in some places, while during the day, many areas will warm up to +6…+11 degrees.
