On Sunday, the air temperature in Latvia may rise to +2 degrees, according to forecasts from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
During the day, the sun will peek out in some places, and precipitation is expected only in the first half of the day in the eastern and some central regions of the country. In some areas, icy conditions are still possible.
The westerly wind will remain gusty along the coast, but by evening it will weaken across the country.
The maximum air temperature will range from −2 to +2 degrees.
In Riga, the day will generally be dry, but the sun will break through the clouds only in the afternoon. A predominantly moderate westerly to northwesterly wind is expected, which will weaken by evening. The air temperature will rise to 0…+2 degrees.
