Cloudy weather will persist in Latgale, where the snowstorm will continue until morning. Significant precipitation is not expected during the day.
The maximum speed of the northern and northeastern winds will decrease to 8-13 meters per second, while gusts on the northern coast of Kurzeme will still reach 19 meters per second.
A snowdrift is expected, and snowdrifts will form again on the roads in places.
The air temperature will drop to -9..-14 degrees in the morning and to -5..-10 degrees during the day.
In Riga, it will also clear up on Saturday, and the northern wind will carry some snow. The air temperature will be -11 degrees in the morning and -8 degrees in the middle of the day.
