In southern Latgale, 5–7 centimeters of fresh snow is expected, and the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre has issued a yellow warning. On Thursday, there will be light snow in this region, but no significant precipitation is expected in the rest of the country.

On Thursday, the sun will shine in some places, with the sunniest day expected in northern Latvia. A light to moderate northeast wind will blow.

The air will warm up slightly, with maximum temperatures ranging from zero degrees in southern Latgale to -6 degrees in northern Vidzeme and on the Kurzeme coast of the Gulf of Riga.

On Wednesday evening, snow will fall in Riga, and no precipitation is expected on Thursday, with the sun coming out. With a light to moderate northeast wind, the temperature at night will not drop below -8 degrees, and during the day it will rise to -3 degrees.
