A day before the worldwide celebration of love, on February 13, the legendary Latvian dance music band “Tranzīts” will perform a free concert in the center of Riga — at 55 Elizabetes Street, in the premises of Olympic Voodoo Casino.
Recently, musical evenings featuring legendary Latvian artists, including A-Europa, Žoržs Siksna, and others, have gained special popularity here. This time, it’s the turn of the band “Tranzīts” to get the dance floor moving, and given the large number of visitors at previous events, it’s clear that this evening will be full of energy.
The band will take the main stage at Olympic Voodoo Casino at 10:30 PM, and visitors are invited to come as early as 9:00 PM to warm up for the evening and secure the best spots. The audience will be warmed up and entertained after the concert by DJ KABELITOO.
The origins of the band “Tranzīts” date back to 1994 when they performed and gained wide recognition at the “Sinepes un medus” popular and rock music festival. Over the years, the band has successfully toured throughout Latvia and beyond, creating beloved songs such as “Nevaru būt balts,” “Strauts,” and “Cik labi tu šovakar izskaties.” Visitors will undoubtedly be able to sing along to these and other popular compositions on the evening of February 13.
Entry is free. The event is accessible to visitors aged 18 and over with a valid ID.
