On Tuesday, light to moderate snow is expected in various areas of southern Latvia, with heavier snowfall beginning in the evening in some places, and a light snowstorm is also possible, LETA reports.
Meteorologists forecast that there will be no precipitation in the northern part of the country, with the sun peeking through the clouds in some places.
A moderate eastern, northeast wind will blow, with gusts ranging from 8 to 13 meters per second.
The air temperature will range from -4 to -9 degrees, and in the northeast of the country, it will drop to -11 degrees.
In Riga, a cloudy day is expected with no significant precipitation. A light eastern, northeast wind will blow. The air temperature will be between -7 and -8 degrees.
Weather conditions are influenced by a cyclone in Central Europe. Atmospheric pressure at sea level will range from 1008–1010 hPa in southern Latvia to 1011–1013 hPa in the north.
