The sky will be mostly cloudy. There will be a light to moderate easterly, northeast wind, with gusts of 9-14 meters per second in Kurzeme.
The air temperature at night and during the day will be -3...-9 degrees, in Vidzeme and northern Latgale - up to -10...-15 degrees.
In Riga, Tuesday will be cloudy, with light snow possible, which will intensify by evening. The air temperature in the capital will be -8 degrees at night and -6 degrees during the day.
In southern Latvia, 15-20 cm of snow may fall in the first half of this week. The heaviest snow is expected in southern Latgale and Zemgale near the border with Lithuania.
