Frosty weather will persist on Saturday, meteorologists clarified.
The air temperature on Saturday will be -6 to -11 degrees, predicts the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
The day will pass without significant precipitation - the sky will occasionally clear, and the sun will shine. A light to moderate eastern wind will blow.
In Riga, the maximum air temperature on Saturday will be -7 to -9 degrees.
