On Saturday, a weak wind will drive the clouds, but it will not bring precipitation, according to forecasts from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LEGMC), reports LETA.
During the day, the cloud cover will be variable, but no precipitation is expected. A weak southeast and south wind will blow. The maximum air temperature will range from -5 to -10 degrees, while in the eastern regions it will be colder — from -10 to -13 degrees.
In Riga, variable cloudiness and dry weather are expected. A light wind will blow, and the air temperature will rise to -7…-9 degrees.
Also, on Sunday, variable cloudiness without precipitation is expected. A weak wind from variable directions will blow. The air temperature at night will drop to -11…-16 degrees. It will not be as frosty on the coast — from -6 to -10 degrees, but it will be particularly cold in the southeastern regions — down to -18 degrees. During the day, the air will warm up to -7...-12 degrees, in some places on the Kurzeme coast — up to -5…-7 degrees.
On Monday, the weather conditions will remain unchanged, but it will be a couple of degrees colder than on Sunday.
In the first half of next week, the weather conditions will remain similar to the previous days, but it will warm up by the middle of the week. However, the air temperature will still remain negative both during the day and at night. A weak wind will blow, and the weather will remain dry — the days will pass without significant precipitation.
