Today is the last day of the Christmas market at Dome Square in Riga.
As previously reported by the company "Vecrīgas Ziemassvētku tirdziņš", the market operated from November 28, offering visitors products from Latvian manufacturers and artisans, an extensive cultural program, as well as the opportunity to enjoy various dishes and drinks in a festive atmosphere.
At the market, visitors could meet Santa Claus and elves, ride on a carousel, ride ponies, watch sheep, and participate in creative workshops.
The Christmas market at Dome Square has been operating for 25 years.
According to information from "Firmas.lv", SIA "Vecrīgas Ziemassvētku tirdziņš" was registered in 2001. Last year, the company's turnover was 354,000 euros, and profit was 85,590 euros. The company is fully owned by Andris Kreislers.
