Due to repair work on the Tukums railway line, starting today, some routes on the section Priedejne - Dubulti will have passengers transported by buses, the agency LETA was informed by the joint stock company 'Pasažieru vilciens'.
Starting today, the fourth phase of work on the modernization of the electrified network will begin on the railway line in Tukums, which will result in changes to the train schedule, and on some routes on the section Priedejne-Dubulti, passengers will be transported by buses. The state-owned company 'Latvijas dzelzceļš' (LDz) plans to complete the repairs by February 2 of next year.
Bus services will be coordinated with the trains at the Priedejne station. If a train is delayed, the bus will leave the station only after its arrival and the transfer of passengers. If the bus is delayed, the train will wait for passengers to transfer.
