Next week, it will become warmer in Latvia, and the temperature on the coast may even reach plus 8 degrees, according to forecasts from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
Meteorologists remind us that meteorological winter in Latvia began last Sunday, November 23, when the average daily temperature was below 0 degrees for five consecutive days. Only at some observation stations did meteorological autumn continue.
While cool weather persisted in most of Latvia at the end of this week, it will become warmer next week.
On Monday, the sky will be cloudy, but it will clear up during the day in Kurzeme. Rain is expected only in isolated areas.
At night, the temperature will drop to minus 1 to plus 2 degrees, while during the day it will reach plus 1 to plus 3 degrees, and even up to plus 8 degrees on the coast.
Next week, the weather will be drier, with only light precipitation expected in some areas, and the temperature will mostly be above 0 degrees.
At night, only in isolated places will the thermometer drop to minus 1 degree.
