On Sunday, the sky will still be covered with clouds, according to forecasts from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Center (LEGMC), writes LETA.
The night on Sunday is expected to be cloudy and foggy — with light winds, fog will persist mainly in the southern part of the country, while in the north, light rain is possible in some areas. The minimum air temperature will range from +3 to +7 degrees, with some places on the coast being warmer — from +7 to +9 degrees.
Cloudy weather is also expected in the capital, but significant precipitation is not forecasted. There will be light winds, and fog will form during the night and morning hours. The air temperature will drop to +3…+5 degrees.
During the day, cloud cover will remain, with light drizzle possible in some areas, and fog may persist in certain regions even during the daytime.
Light winds are expected, and the air temperature will rise to +5…+10 degrees.
Riga will also be cloudy, with no significant precipitation expected. There will be light winds, and fog and haze will remain in the morning. The air temperature will increase by only a few degrees, reaching +6…+7.
