On the night of Friday and in the morning, a vast area of precipitation will cross Latvia from the west - rain, locally heavy, is forecasted by meteorologists.
The wind will blow from the south and southwest, in Kurzeme from the west and northwest, with gusts of up to 17 meters per second expected on the open sea coast. The minimum air temperature will be +5...+10 degrees, and up to +12 degrees on the coast.
During the day, cloud cover will decrease from the west, while cloudy weather is expected in eastern Latvia. In the central and eastern regions, rain will occur in many places.
On the last working day of the week, a northwestern wind with gusts of 12-17 meters per second is expected in the western and central regions of the country. The air temperature will reach +9...+14 degrees.
In Riga, rain will fall on the morning of October 10. At night, with a weak south-southwest wind, the air temperature will drop to +8 degrees, while during the day, gusts of northwestern wind will reach 17 meters per second, and the air will warm up to +13 degrees.
