In the next ten days, there will be occasional rain in Latvia, and the following week is expected to be cool, according to the latest weather forecasts, LETA reports.
On Thursday and Friday, there will be rain in some areas, while the sun will shine in most parts of the country, with maximum air temperatures reaching +9 to +15 degrees.
On Saturday and Sunday, the sun will alternate with clouds, and there will be brief rain in some places, with more precipitation expected on Sunday. A gusty northwestern wind is anticipated — along the coast, gusts may reach up to 19 meters per second. The minimum air temperature at night will be +2 to +9 degrees, and up to +12 degrees along the coast; on Saturday, the air will warm up to +9 to +14 degrees, while Sunday may be a couple of degrees cooler.
It is expected that next week, air temperatures will mostly not exceed +5 to +10 degrees, and at night, they may drop below zero in some areas. Precipitation is likely to occur frequently — mainly in the form of rain, but wet snow and hail are also possible in some places.
