The lawyer for Janis Timma's family, Margarita Gavrilova, reported that Latvian law enforcement conducted interviews with relatives and friends of the basketball player with whom he maintained contact in the USA. However, Anna Sedokova could not be questioned. According to the lawyer, the singer was officially summoned by the Latvian police, but she refused to attend the meeting.
"As part of the investigation into Timma's case, the police interviewed all close contacts who communicated with him in America. Sedokova could not be questioned as she ignored the summons," Gavrilova specified.
However, Sedokova's representative, Tatyana Stukalova, denied the information about the summons. In a comment, she stated that the Latvian police did not send any summons to the artist, calling the plaintiffs' claims a fabrication.
At a court hearing in the Ostankino Court of Moscow, it became known that Janis's relatives are demanding that his ex-wife allocate shares in four properties owned by Anna, in addition to the apartment purchased during their marriage. The plaintiffs note that Timma bought several apartments under construction before the wedding, which passed to Sedokova after his death. The family representatives are asking the court to recover a quarter of the cadastral value of these properties from the singer.
Recall that the marriage between Sedokova and Timma was dissolved on December 9, 2024. A week later, the basketball player took his own life, and his body was buried in Riga.
