Australian firefighters have once again become the stars of the famous charity calendar. For the 2027 edition, they traditionally posed shirtless, accompanied by kittens, puppies, horses, and other animals.
This year, the project has become particularly large-scale: the organizers have prepared five calendar options — "Dog", "Cat", "Horse", "Various Animals", and "Hero", featuring personal portraits of firefighters.
In the Frame — Rescued Kittens
Among the participants of the photo shoot were homeless kittens rescued by volunteers from the organization Best Friends Feline. For example, the hero of the May page is firefighter Kane, posing with a kitten named Macchiato.
The project has long combined striking photography with charity. Part of the proceeds from calendar sales goes to organizations involved in animal rescue, as well as programs for disaster relief and first aid.

Over $3.5 Million Raised
The calendar featuring real Australian firefighters has been published for 34 years and has long gained fans far beyond Australia.
During the existence of the project, it has reportedly raised over $3.5 million for charity. Calendars for 2027 are also planned to be distributed worldwide.
Kittens, puppies, and muscular firefighters have once again proven to be a formula that draws attention to charity: striking photographs help raise money for those who truly need assistance.
