The conflict between the family of the deceased Latvian basketball player Janis Timma and his ex-wife Anna Sedokova continues. The athlete's father, Raitis Timma, accused the singer of indifference and hypocrisy amid the legal dispute over property and inheritance.
Raitis Timma commented on Anna Sedokova's behavior and her public displays of emotion following the death of the basketball player. In his opinion, the emotional videos of the singer, in which she cries to sad music, do not align with the actions of her representatives in the property dispute.
"I'll say this, she doesn't know what shame is. Therefore, she wasn't ashamed then, and she isn't now. Of course, it's indifference," said Janis Timma's father.
He also reminded that Sedokova did not attend the identification of the athlete's body. Furthermore, Raitis Timma claims that the singer was eager to leave for the United States as soon as possible to withdraw and hide the remaining money in the accounts. These statements represent the position of the father of the deceased athlete.
The Timma Family is Suing Sedokova
Janis Timma's relatives are currently in a legal dispute with Anna Sedokova. They are seeking to recognize the property acquired during the marriage and registered in the singer's name as jointly owned property. The family wants to allocate Timma's share to be included in the inheritance.
Additionally, the lawyer for the basketball player's family previously stated about the alleged forgery of the marriage contract. This is also an accusation from the Timma family's side, rather than a fact established by the court.
Thus, the conflict surrounding Janis Timma's inheritance is becoming increasingly public: the legal dispute has now been compounded by harsh statements from his father directed at the basketball player's ex-wife.
