Latvian singer Maria Naumova, who brought Latvia its only victory in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest, shared the joyful news — she has become a grandmother for the first time.
The singer announced the addition to her family on Instagram, sharing a touching message.
"Becoming a grandmother for me is the discovery of a new, quiet, and unconditional love, filled with more gratitude and less anxiety.
Today I congratulate the little Person who has come into this world ❤️ May your life be filled with light, love, and God's blessing 🙏 And for me, a new dimension of life begins — to be a grandmother," Naumova wrote.
The singer did not disclose the child's gender, name, or other details.
Maria Naumova made history in Latvian music in 2002 when, under the stage name Marie N, she won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song I Wanna, bringing Latvia its only victory to date in this international music competition.
