Full Cooperation with the Investigation
It should be noted that the warrant for the popular actress's arrest was issued by the prosecutor's office on March 25. Hande immediately and actively began cooperating with the investigation: she voluntarily underwent all necessary tests and provided detailed testimony. In her official statement, the star firmly emphasized that she has never had any connections with prohibited substances in her life. Shortly before her detention, Erçel returned to Turkey, as she usually lives and studies abroad. The actress stated that as soon as she learned about the arrest warrant issued by the Istanbul prosecutor's office and her being wanted, she immediately expressed her willingness to fully cooperate and flew back to her homeland on the next available flight. At Istanbul airport, she was already awaited by the police, who escorted Hande to all investigative activities.

Hande's former lover, influential billionaire Hakan Sabancı, did not remain on the sidelines and publicly spoke in defense of her reputation, stating: "I have never used drugs in my life, nor have I ever been in a place where they are present.
