Don't you understand? No one will notice the collapse of Russia until Moscow attacks Tver - analyst

"Propagandist Norkin asked the question: what are the motives of people who left Russia after the announcement of partial mobilization? - The main answer is cowardice and lack of patriotism. I do not agree with the first. The second requires some comments," writes analyst, professor Sergey Lopatnikov.

Scientist and analyst Sergey Lopatnikov is the head of the American laboratory for mathematical modeling methods at the University of Delaware (USA), and a former leading researcher at Moscow State University (MSU). He has been living in the USA since the early 2000s. Here is what he writes:

"Russia today has laid itself across the road of history, starting to resist the historically inevitable and necessary globalization. Essentially, those who do not wish to be caged, and who are imposed with religiousness, are leaving Russia, not considering it necessary to sacrifice their lives for Abramovich's yachts, while the world is vast and beautiful.

I wrote just recently that if Russia collapses, the vast majority of its residents will not notice it, just as they did not notice the collapse of the USSR - and they will not notice until the wars between Tver and Moscow resume. And the residents of the Far East - I also wrote - if the USA unexpectedly starts handing out American passports, it is unlikely that there will be even a couple of people (I won't say - crazy) who would refuse them.

And this is neither good nor bad. The world has simply changed. The civilized world has ceased to be provincial; a person lives in a house, but the house is in the world, not in the village where they were born and where they are useful.

Today, many people have relatives scattered all over the world, and they maintain the closest ties and communications between them - thanks to the internet, phones, and satellite communication.

What do I get for my taxes if healthcare is paid, education - at least higher education - is paid, housing is paid, everything is paid! - A standard consideration of right-wing Americans: "Am I paying taxes just to support a bunch of freeloaders?!" - And what can be said in response to that? - Nothing. Oh, right, there's the army. But the army has long ceased to be part of the expenses. Today, in developed countries, the army is a way to occupy potential unemployed and ensure the purchasing power necessary for the industry that produces consumer goods. This is money thrown from a military helicopter... And the police. Yes. A quality police force is needed in the broadest sense of the word.

Well, the eternal patriotic argument of "love for birches" is a weak argument even if you love birches. There are many birches in the world.

Language? - There are already online voice and written translators. In about ten years, the language barrier will simply disappear. You will speak in your language, and your counterpart will hear you speaking in their language - whether in Russian or Swahili, in your own voice.

So it’s better not to lay across history. It will crush you," the American professor believes.
