The incident occurred in the city of Geelong, Victoria. The woman was in her yard when the snake crawled out from under the wall of her house and wrapped around her leg. The Australian woman managed to shake the snake off her leg, after which she fell. The reptile did not have time to bite her.
As the specialist who caught the snake explained, the woman experienced severe stress. "When I arrived, she was shaking all over. It will take her some time to recover," he said.
According to Nine News, Australian copperhead snakes are extremely venomous. A bite from such a reptile can be fatal.
