A private school with instruction in Russian and Finnish will open in the city of Turku, Finland. This is reported by the broadcasting company Yle.
"At the initial stage, the school will offer basic education in Finnish and Russian," the publication states.
According to the chairperson of the parent committee for Finnish-Russian classes, Ekaterina Tyakhkyapya, the school will open its doors in 2027 if the appropriate license is obtained. About twenty students from the first to the third grade will study there, and two teachers will work. The school also plans to offer instruction in Spanish, Chinese, and Arabic languages.
